The Road will be screened in morethan 50 cinemas in North America starting May 11

Hindi makapaniwala ang Kapuso actor na si Alden Richards sa tagumpay na natamo ng pelikula nilang The Road.

Nakasama niya sa naturang pelikula sina TJ Trinidad, Renz Valerio, Rhian Ramos, Carmina Villaroel, Marvin Agustin, Barbie Forteza, Louise delos Reyes, Derrick Monasterio, Lexi Fernandez, at Ynna Assistio.

Nakatakda kasing ipalabas ang The Road simula May 11, 2012, sa halos 50 sinehan sa Amerika at Canada.

Kasama din ang nasabing pelikula sa 30th Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival simula Abril 5 hanggang Abril 17, at lalahok sa 8th Fantaspoa International Film Festival sa Porto Alegre, Brazil.

Eksklusibong nakapanayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Alden kahapon, Pebrero 22, sa presscon ng The Road sa 17th floor Executive Lounge ng GMA Network sa Timog Avenue, Quezon City.

"Goose bumps," mabilis na sagot ng aktor ng tanungin namin ang reaksyon niya sa tagumpay na natamo ng The Road.

"A, sobrang when I heard about the news automatic tumaas 'yong mga balahibo ko, e.

"Kasi never in my life did I imagined na gagawa ako ng isang horror film na would go international.

"So, parang sa akin okay na nagawa ko 'yong film, okay na nagawa ko 'yong role ng maayos.

"Pero to think na sobrang daming blessings ng The Road, ang daming blessings ng GMA Films for this opportunity.

"So, we won't waste it, hopefully we'll be in States on the premiere and sana maging maganda 'yong feedback from the American audience."

INSPIRED ACTOR. Ang tagumpay na ito ng nasabing pelikula'y nagbigay ng inspirasyon kay Alden bilang aktor.

Bukod pa rito, tinulungan din daw siya ng pelikulang ito na malaman kung ano ba talaga ang kanyang kakayahan bilang isang baguhan sa industriya.

"Kasi when I started kasi I'm not interested in acting," pag-amin ng 19-year-old na aktor.

"Kasi before I did a commercial, then sa commercial na 'yon I had 25 takes sa isang action lang.

"So, parang na-realize ko sa sarili ko no'n, 'ay, hindi pala ako marunong umarte.' Pero ngayon, no'ng nag-start ako sa showbiz, 'yong Alakdana then 'yong Tween Academy, then this, The Road parang there's the realization na I can do this pala.

"I can excel on this and I can do better in this field.

"Na-inspire ako in a sense na kaya ko pala umarte, na ne-realize ko na in showbiz pala talaga you learn something new, you learn from your previous experiences, and it makes you better, it makes you passionate about...passionate as an actor.

"It makes you feel na may mga bagay palang kaya mong gawin hindi mo lang alam."

INTERNATIONAL SHOWING. Samantala, ikinuwento naman ni Yam Laranas, ang direktor ng The Road, kung paano naging possible ang international showing ng pelikula.
